Assignment Description: In this assignment I used a photo technique called light painting to create a unique picture that highlights an object, person, or makes an object or person appear more than once in the picture.

Summary: In this assignment I learned how to make cool designs and art with light and dark. I learned how to make yourself appear many times in a photograph and change things in it to make everything different. Overall in this assignment I learned a lot about light painting mostly by experimenting and seeing what different things did in the picture and what things changed.

Photo Assignment 6- Nature

Assignment Description- In this assignment I took pictures of nature such as flowers and trees. I took these photo's in People's Park near Downtown Saline. Most of the pictures are of flowers that were naturally growing in the park.

Summary: In this Assignment I learned how to use aperture and depth of field to highlight flowers better. I also learned how to make colors pop better using color levels in gimp to edit them and darken and brighten different areas. All in all I learned a lot about how to use settings on my camera and gimp to take pictures of things and make those pictures look really good.

gimp assignment 7- puns

assignment description- In this assignment I learned how to use puns to create a funny picture that confuses people in gimp. It s a very fun and funny assignment. It is also kind of punny ;).

gimp assignment 6- dictionary

assignment description- In this assignment we were making a visual dictionary of words and their definitions. We put the word and definition (which we found using the dictionary app) then three pictures of it that describes it

What I learned: In this assignment i learned to use many gimp tools and the dictionary app.

Photo assignment 5- Still Life

Assignment Description: In this assignment I took photos of items that i planned out the light and arrangement of items in the photos.

Summary: All in all during this assignment I learned how to arrange items in a photo to make them visually appealing for the eyes. I also learned how to change the light to make the photo lighter or darker in different places. I think that the arrangement in a picture means the most.

Photo assignment 4- Event (LAX!!)

Assignment Description: In this assignment I took pictures at a lacrosse game. I took pictures both of the play and of the people watching with me.

Summary: In this assignment i spent the first half of a lacrosse game taking pictures of sights and sounds. I took pictures of both the players and the people watching who were fun. I learned to take pictures of moving people and players.

Gimp Assignment 5- Portrait

Assignment Description- In this assignment I learned how to use many portrait lights and camera angles to make a good picture with good lighting. We also learned how to use a bounce card to reflect light onto our subject to make even light.
